Dr. Ektor Panayi, MD PD PhD (Greek: Ektoras Hadjipanayi)  carried out his medical education in some of Europe’s most prestigious academic institutions. After obtaining a medical degree (MD) at the famous University of Cambridge (UK), he completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University College London (UCL, UK).  He then carried out his training in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Addenbrooke's NHS Cambridge University Hospital, followed by training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Bogenhausen Hospital in Munich, under world-renowned plastic & reconstructive surgeon  Prof. Milomir Ninkovic.

Dr. Panayi currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), one of Germany's most acclaimed Universities, having led the plastic surgery research department for 5 years. He is also the Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Lefkos Stavros Hospital, one of Athen's State of the Art  Private Hospitals.

He has over 20 years experience in cosmetic surgery, focusing on facial rejuvenation, and body contouring procedures. His specialty includes Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Breast Surgery and Body Liposculpture.  He is one of the most highly distinguished plastic surgeons in Greece, and has pioneered / contributed to several breakthroughs in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Panayi was voted 'Best Plastic Surgeon of the Year', at the 2024 Medical Beauty Awards, receiving 2 Platinum Awards and 6 Gold Awards for Best Results in Face and Body, a special honour handed by the President of the Greek Medical Association Dr. Exadaktilos. Dr Panayi also has an outstanding academic career, achieving world-renowned status for his research work and innovations in the field of regenerative medicine and wound healing. He has authored multiple high-impact international scientific publications, obtained 6 international patents on various innovations in the filed of biomedical engineering, while his work has been cited in more than 10 books on regenerative medicine and plastic surgery. For his ground-breaking contribution, he has received many international awards, such as the German Prize for innovation in Biotechnology 2013 and the Science4Life Award 2016.
